In April, May, and June 59, 63, and 64 filings were recorded, respectively.

So far this year, the industrials sector has seen 58 bankruptcies, followed by 49 in consumer discretionary, 27 in healthcare and 19 in consumer staples.

Corporate bankruptcies remain elevated in 2025 due to tightening liquidity, rising debt burdens, and persistently high interest rates. At the same time, consumer spending is weakening under pressure from a softening labor market, stubborn inflation, and the impact of tariffs.
