🚨US bankruptcies are tracking at a 15-year high so far in 2025

In April, the number of bankruptcy filings hit 59, the highest since January.

So far this year, the industrials sector has seen 41 bankruptcies, followed by 31 in consumer discretionary, 17 in healthcare and 13 in consumer staples.

According to S&P Global, consumer discretionary companies have been the most hurt due to market volatility, tariffs, and inflation uncertainty.

US bankruptcies have rarely been this high outside of a recession.
