⚠️US budget deficit hit $838 billion in the first 4 months of the Fiscal Year 2025

The US government continues spend like a drunken sailor

The United States borrowed $838 billion in the first 4 months of Fiscal Year 2025, or a whopping $7 billion a day, according to the CBO monthly budget review.

This is $306 billion higher than the corresponding period last year.

This was driven by government outlays which rose $317 billion from the previous year.

At the same time, revenues increased by just $11 billion.

The US government has a spending problem.
