⚠️The US government is running one of the largest deficits in history

This is despite a budget surplus recorded in June 2025

The US government ran a budget surplus of $26 billion in June 2025. This is in contrast with a $71 billion deficit recorded in June 2024. This was driven by an additional business day and larger income and payroll taxes collections.

In the first 9 months of Fiscal Year 2025, the US budget deficit has reached $1.337 trillion, the 4th-highest in history.

Over the last 12 months, the budget gap hit $1.9 trillion or 6.4% of GDP.

Meanwhile, The US national debt is set to hit $51 trillion by 2032, if not sooner.

That would be double the value seen in 2020. The federal debt is rising in a straight line.

The government continues to spend like a drunken sailor.

The public debt situation is beyond crisis.
