Global Markets Investor long-term investment portfolio has gained 9.16% year-to-date, beating the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 drop of 4.59% and 8.25% as well as the global stocks decline of 2.2%. By comparison, world stocks excluding USA and European equities rose 5.50% and 7.28% year-to-date.

In other words, the portfolio has beaten the S&P 500 by 13.75 percentage points year-to-date.
