The 11 largest Asian countries have accumulated $4.7 trillion of US stocks and bonds since the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis.
Their total investments in the US reached a massive $7.5 trillion, according to a Bloomberg News analysis of capital flow data from the US Department of the Treasury.
